How Does Spider Vein Cosmetic Sclerotherapy Work?

Spider veins often get confused with varicose veins – spider veins appear smaller than 1 mm in comparison to varicose veins and only appear on the surface of the skin. While varicose veins tend to bulge out of the skin, swell, and cause pain, spider veins only appear as a simple cosmetic. In statistics, about 40 percent of women experience spider veins compared to 25 percent of their male counterparts.
