Dr. Clint A. Hayes, MD is a General Surgeon specialized in Venous Surgery who has practiced in Sherman / Denison since 1999. Dr. Hayes grew up in Fannin County and graduated from Bonham High School in 1986. He earned his Batchelor of Science degree at Hardin Simmons University before completing his Medical Doctor degree at Texas Tech School of Medicine. Dr. Hayes completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at Carraway Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama in 1999, at which time he established his private surgical practice in Fannin County, working at Texoma Medical Center, where he has twice served as Chief of Surgery. Dr. Hayes practiced full-time General, Trauma, and Vascular Surgery at TMC for the next seven years.

In 2004, Dr. Hayes completed intensive Venous Surgery training under Dr. John Kingsley in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Hayes sub-specialized in the field of Venous Surgery and founded the Vein Center of North Texas in 2005. Dr. Hayes became double-boarded when he successfully sat for the Board of Venous and Lymphatic Surgery in 2008, which was the inaugural class of the ABVLM. He remains Texoma’s own Double-Boarded General/Venous Vein Specialist, and is one of only approximately 50 Fellows of the American College of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (FAVLM) nationwide.
